Im September 2025 veröffentlichten twenty one pilots ihr siebtes Studioalbum „Breach“. Den Song „Drag Path“ gab’s damals allerdings nur für die Fans zu hören, die sich die Limited Edition „Digital Remains“ kauften. Dass der Track einen Hype auf Social Media auslösen würde, dürften Tyler Joseph und Josh Dun dabei nicht am Schirm gehabt haben. Mehr als 75.000 Videos und 1.5 Milliarden Views später meldeten sie sich auf Instagram:

„We have not wanted to release ‚Drag Path‘ officially because we want to respect those who purchased it back when the album was being released, so that’s why we waited. But now we want to release it. What we’re gonna do is: We’re gonna release it with a slightly different edit to it, so that those who bought it have a more original version of it. So the official released version is gonna be a litte bit different structually. Most of it’s intact, but I wanted to save something special for those who purchased it originally.“
